Research I researched the different job roles on set for magazine shows. The two main roles that I researched was director of photography and floor manager.   The director of photography (DOP) overlooks all the camera and light on a magazine show to make sure everything is consistent and perfect. Their job is to make artistic and technical decisions related to the image to make it look the best it could possibly be. The second job I researched was floor manager, their job is to oversee everything when filming. They make sure everything is running smoothly and correctly throughout the filming process.    Furthermore, after the first day of shooting I learnt how to fix the white balance on the camera. As on the first show of the Oscars rundown the white balance was completely different to the others. Our Podcast Conspiracy Show Podcast Task 1 Comparison of Two Podcasts For part of task one we had to carry out an analysis of two different podcasts currently on the market and what makes them unique, for this I have decided to look at an interview/talk show-based podcast and a story based podcast. I looked at the most popular podcast on the platform ‘The Joe Rogan Experience’. Joe Rogan is a commentator for the UFC and runs the number 1 podcast on the platform. Joe Rogan is so popular because he is very well known and respected. He has had multiple big guests on, including Elon Musk, Mike Tyson and more. On the podcast there is a new topic every 10 minutes meaning the conversation never dies out. The whole podcast is just Joe Rogan having a conversation with a big celebrity.
