My Question: What makes a writer/ director like Zemeckis span a career of 40+ years reaching ever changing audiences, is it because he is an innovator of special effects or is it his talent for identifying perfect collaborations? Primary r esearch from studying Zemeckis's films From the beginning Robert Zemeckis would begin his films in the same way. With a complex tracking shot that establishes important information for the viewer. In the 1978 film, ‘I Wanna Hold Your Hand’ the shot introduces the time period and setting of the climax. My screenwriting task was to write a scene with one person trying to tell another that they love them, but being too afraid to say it straight for fear of being rejected. The reason I chose this question was because I believed this was out of my comfort zone. I wanted practice in writing different stories in different circumstances and storylines that I wouldn't usually write.   

Episode 1 – Production Diary Tuesday 5 th January 2021 On Tuesday 5 th January we set the assignment to create a three episode online sketch show. We first began by discussing different ideas in a zoom meeting with my fellow year two classmates. After a lot of discussion, we did we wanted to investigate stereotypes and lockdown reacting to TV in the style of goggle box idea. Furthermore, we wanted to take classic British TV shows and put a funny spin on the shows. We began to do individual research brainstorming different ideas that we each had. During my brainstorming process I decided to create an idea of a government announcement and people reacting to it.
